Welcome Back to the Blog! Hope you’re all having a fabulous Tuesday! Today we will be naming our first Listen favorites off Jennie’s new album Ruby! Here’s our list of favorites in no particular order!
Honestly love this entire album and I’m mad I ever doubted her! You can tell she knows who she is personally and what sounds best for her! And what works best for HER! She truly knows herself and her limits! And she stayed in a lane she created for herself while staying true to the type of music she enjoys! This album sounds like something a young woman in her position would go into a studio and make! And not something a studio would make for HER. At first I was worried about all of the collaborations, I wanted her first solo album to be all JENNIE. And not be too westernized, but all of the collaborations fit and made total sense for her! I’m so proud of her and no matter the numbers, I hope she knows how much we all enjoy her first body of work!
