Welcome Back to the Blog and Happy Friday!! Today we will FINALLY be discussing Nct’s Mark Lee first ever full length solo album!!

AND WE ALL CHEERED!!! Let’s get into it…

Since I got into Nct and being a general Sm stan, there’s one face I’ve seen legit Everywhere!!! And that’s Mark Lee, he’s seriously debuted like 5 times already! And each time there’s a new group on the rise, I’m sure SM is thinking of putting him in it in some way. He’s just that talented, he can sing, rap, dance and he seems to be the most humble and genuine soul on this planet! and you can TELL he just loves his job and always puts on a SHOW!!!

His first album FIRST FRUIT WILL be out on April 7 and I just know he’s so excited and finally so proud to release his personal project! He’s been working hard on it for a while and even pushed it back until he was satisfied with every little detail of it. Which I hugely respect him for, because I just know SM was begging him and trying to push him to release it sooner.

Which was super cute and very on brand for mark. These two singles just show the very different sides to mark and how multifaceted he is! And according to mark himself, the genre for the album isn’t just one thing, it’s a little bit of everything ! And I’m so excited to have a little peek into his brain and life.

I’ve also seen discussions about the album being very “Christian” based and I’m like , so what if it is!? Mark is VERY vocal and loud about his faith! And is always thanking God every chance he gets, so I don’t doubt he’ll have a few songs about his faith in there and that’s absolutely fine! He’s not the first artist to do that but he may be the first kpop idol to do it so passionately and openly! It’s his first album, his baby, he can write about whatever he wants!! And his real fans will support it and love it right along with him!

I do think it’s very natural and healthy to have a bit of faith in something… especially in these days. so I see nothing wrong with that.

Also shout to the 127 boys for supporting mark endlessly!! And people have the nerve to say they don’t really like each other.
