Welcome Back to AsToldByShanise! And happy Sunday, today we will be discussing who I thought stood out the most this comeback !

Let’s get into it…

Arirang has been out for a few weeks now and I’ve been completely obsessed from beginning to end. I’ve listened to it fully more times than I can count and I keep finding new and interesting things about each song . I know the boys felt rushed and there was more English than they wanted, but this is genuinely one of their most fun albums and one of their best albums to date .

Being gone for nearly 4 years, everyone stepped up their writing game and their vocals . You can literally hear how well rested, refreshed, and happy they are to be back with new music and performing !

But there’s two members who stood out so much to me and left me completely gagged. HOBI & JIN!

Jin literally had the least amount of time out of all the boys and the least amount of input . But his presence and vocals shine so loud and so pure on this album . This is literally the most clean & clear I’ve heard his voice in their music . songs like Like Animals, Please, And Swim, does such a great job of showcasing his siren like vocals . I was literally levitating while listening to Like Animals. He sounds incredible!

Hobi has always had one of my favorite kpop rap flows. And he completely steals the show in this album! He has such great versus and it’s just so much aura and confidence in everything he’s saying. He’s such a Superstar!! He really shines in the rap heavy songs like Body to Body, Hooligan and 2.0. But he also shines in the softer songs as well like , They Don’t know bout us . I’ve grown to appreciate him so much more through his solo music . And bts is so lucky to have him. Their rap line wouldn’t be the same without Hobi!

Overall I think we can agree by now this album is in a lane all its own. And every member brought something new and better back to Arirang. BTS is 7 and will always be 7!
