Aespa has done it again friends! Although I’m not at all surprised, the girls are back with another comeback just months after releasing mega hit Drama. let’s get into what may be one of my favorite Aespa comebacks ever!

Supernova is such a loud and proud but very Sm and Aespa type of song. It would be almost impossible for another group to cover it or even put it out as a single and it work as well as it did for aespa! They’ve definitely found their look and sound , and we are LOVING IT.

The video as always sells the song even more, even if the song wasn’t as catchy as it is, the video would definitely make you a fan! It’s quirky, cute and fun! The girls each exhibit different super powers and you can tell they had so much fun filming the video for supernova.

Of course my favorite part was the dance break down, which Aespa are starting to become known for. What makes it even better is the girls sample a hit from the 80s,(Planet Rock)! which I know for a FACT a lot of younger kpop Stan’s have zero clue about, but will now be interested in finding out the origin of the song.

Even while performing the song live, you can see the girls have definitely improved over the years! They were one of the most hated and talked about girl groups in SM, for their lack of performance skills and giving “nothing”. You wouldn’t even be able to tell now by looking at them and how comfortable they seem to be within the group and on stage.

Karina as always does a wonderful job each comeback with guiding her girls and they seem to follow her lead effortlessly.

Honestly even though I STILL love drama , supernova may be taking her spot as my number one Aespa song!

This is just one of the many promo tacks they’ve released ahead of their new full length album Armageddon! And if this bop is any indication, we can’t wait to see what else the girls and the Sm have in store!
