Welcome Back To the blog! Today we will be discussing Jennie Kim’s newest single , EXTRAL featuring Doechii! Let’s get into it…

This would be the 4th single released from her upcoming album titled Ruby and her third official single following Love Hangover. So far I’ve seriously loved every single song drop but I think this one just might be my favorite!

ExtraL does everything right and it was MADE for Jennie. She’s full of confidence and well seasoned. And she just shines in this video. I love a good woman empowering song and I’ve had this song on repeat since it dropped! Jennie is doing a great job making a lane all on her own ,away from BlackPink and kpop! She’s already like a little sister to a lot of western celebrities over here and has a huge American fanbase! I can see her easily becoming a massive solo success over here just based off this album and her connections!

Adding Doechii was just a stroke of genius, the way she comes into the song just gives me chills and she absolutely devours it! Jennie and Doechii together is a pair I didn’t know I needed until now. Now I hope they continue to make music together in the future. They just go so well together. and dare I say Doechii being on the song is what made it a 10 for me.

The video is simple but oh so sickening! She truly made this song for blinks, the girls and the gays. And made sure that the men knew, “this song isn’t for you”. The beginning with the dancers stomping to the beat is my absolute favorite opening in a video this year! I’m just over all so obsessed with this song and video!
