Welcome Back to the Blog! Today we will be discussing the first 3 singles off Seventeens album Happy Burst Day!

Staring off strong with HBD, which is emo seventeen to the text level. I got strong one direction vibes from this song and it felt super nostalgic. I didn’t know I was missing rock seventeen until we got it and now I’m wishing they touched this genre a little more! Scoups, Wonwoo, and Vernon have the type of voices that shines on These type song songs. But they all sounded amazing .

Our lead single and it took a little minute to grow on me for sure! But now I’m walking around singing “ Alo alo” . They’ve also got us spelling thunder on beat and I didn’t think that was possible. But I also never really thought about it . The video and choreography really brings this song to life. And they seem to have so much fun performing it. I REALLY wish we could have seen jeonghan with this concept! He would have been so beautiful!!

We got a sneak of this song a few months back during fashion week! And I didn’t think we’d ever get the full song, at least not this soon!! Such a banger and the fact they got to work with Pharrel Willams is super cool! My one and only pet peeve with this song is that they block out the cuss words. As if Seventeen aren’t fully grown men. But over all one of my favorite b sides from the boys!
