Taste Album Review

By : Shanise Lachelle

Welcome Back To the Blog! Today we will be discussing the over all feel and vibes of TASTE.

Let’s get into it…..

Overall I give this album its flowers, it’s a complete 5/5. It’s not rushed and it’s well paced out with the amount of songs. I was surprised when I heard we’d be getting a full 11 track R&b inspired album. Yet Taste is here and it doesn’t disappoint. Not one song fills like a filler, not even the track titled Intermission, and I honestly wish that track was longer as well!

You can definitely tell his producers and writers know him well. And they came with music that suits him the best. This album is definitely influenced by his love of Michael Jackson and soul/R&b music. His voice shines so much in this genre, it makes sense he’s one of SMs best hidden vocalists. And with this album alone we get to see how much his potential may truly be waisted in boy band. As he doesn’t get the chance to fully show what he can do. And even though I LOVE him in Nct. I LOVE him solo more. it’s such a mature vibe for Haechan and I’m glad people can start to separate him from the playful nct member and see him as a more adult artist.

Some of the singles he shines the most vocally in are:

Love beyond

Camera lights

Should Be

Grey Rain

Roll with me

Some of the most fun singles on the album:

CRZY

ADRENALINE

WYN

Over all this is the perfect solo debut for Haechan! I’m happy he took his time and I hope he is as proud, as we all are of him! This album has been on repeat since it came out on Monday . I see it being on repeat for many months to come.
