Life has been super BUSY and that’s just outside of my kpop life. Work has been hectic, home has been hectic, and there’s so many comebacks and new music dropping , it’s been hard to keep up.

So imagine my surprise when I was scrolling on instagram one day and saw my very own OG bts bias (JIMIN) was releasing new music and it would be (BLONDE JIMIN)!!! I was extremely excited! So let’s get into his brand new single Who.

This song is giving very much early 2000s vibes . Think usher mixed with Michael Jackson influences. Love the flow of the song and the instrumental! And it’s a song completely in English, wasn’t expecting that at all. Jimin sounds fluent as can be and I’m so proud of him doing something out of his comfort zone and really going for it. I know recently he was interviewed (before enlisting)by namjoon . and he said him and jungkook spend a lot of time together and spend it mostly discussing music. I can only imagine he was influenced and encouraged by JK himself to give it a go for his second album and do a full English song. I will admit I would LOVE to hear how it sounds in Korean though. He does sound so amazing and I feel like I’ve never heard him like this before , his voice feels so clear and heavenly.

The video is super cool and it’s jimin singing his heart out about a girl he’s never seen or met , but he’s clearly head over heels for her! Love, LOVE the choreography. We all know if jimin is gonna do one thing… it’s eat up some choreography like it’s nothing. he moves like he’s walking on air. He’s such a graceful and beautiful dancer.

I love how this song is completely different from set me free prt 2. But still strong and amazing all on its own. Really showing that jimin can do variety. I was obsessed with set me free jimin. But I think Who jimin might be taking that throne.

I give the song and video 10/10. And I wouldn’t change a thing, park jimin continues to push the boundaries on what he can do and what people expect of him. And I’m so proud!!
