Yesterday morning we were awoken to a message from Pledis/Hybe telling us that not only was Jeonghan enlisting… right away and he won’t be apart of the upcoming tour or promo. But Jun as well will also not be apart of anything due to upcoming acting obligations in China. And sent the carat fandom into a collective meltdown. Let’s get into it…

This entire situation is a complete and utter mess. First of all when they were 13 last year, they did Follow tours at-least a hundred million times between Japan and Korea. Which was entirely unnecessary. Half of those concerts could have been over here in the states, where they have a MASSIVE following and haven’t been back in two years! But hybe decided to keep giving them tours back to back in the same two places. And with caratland In Korea too, it just feels like the US fans were given a second thought or more of a last thought.

Also you could be thinking… “well what about the European fans?!” They at least get to see seventeen at several festivals this summer . The US as always is left for last and not given any care or thought. They told us basically all year we’d be getting a “WORLD TOUR” only for it to finally be released randomly in August and only have 5 stops . Just 5, is insane when they have the demand and haven’t been back in two years! Also the last time they were here , it was during Covid and a lot of the members missed different shows due to catching COVID. So no one truly saw them as 13 the last time they were here.

So to drop this announcement just days before tickets go on sale and the fans have rushed to buy the membership is super vile but typical of kpop companies! They knew we’d be in a panic and would rush to book hotels and buy plane tickets off the hopes of securing atleast one ticket! This is also the last seventeen show we will have in a while, as 10 of members will start enlisting. And seeing as of now they aren’t going like bts did in groups, it’s gonna take longer for them all to come back. so of course the pricing of the tickets will be super high and expensive as well. To also market them as 13 knowing they wouldn’t legit be 13 is the devils work truly . And carats have every right to be upset.

This is so heartbreaking for us, no matter we aren’t getting all 13 and Jeonghan is enlisting probably within the next two weeks. This all has been handled so poorly and I know the boys can’t control everything, but the way the US is being treated is disgusting. I STILL hope people go and the boys have an amazing last tour, because they deserve the love and encouragement no matter what. This all could have been done differently though . I personally won’t be going due to adult obligations, and I was seriously so upset over the timing of the tour drop dates and lack of stops. I hadn’t planned or budget for them to randomly announce in the middle of August but here we are and I’m so upset. This is the most trash goodbye to our boys ever and they deserved better. And perhaps because of how much better and BIGGER they’ve gotten, they should have fought harder for us. But then again maybe they did and this is why we have the little tour we’re getting now.

Seventeen I will always love and support you! You got me out of the darkest time in my life and guided me to the light! I hope you have the best send off ever. Jeonghan and Jun I’m so sorry this wasn’t planned better and hope you both are doing well mentally preparing for the next steps in your life.
