Do it review

Why you all continue to sleep on chloexhalle is beyond me. These girls literally write and produce most if not ALL of their music . And they’re adorable and super humble. Not to mention queen B has Become their mentor. their debut album THE KIDS ARE ALRIGHT, was released in 2018 and was nominated for a few Grammys! No big deal right? Not to mention they toured with Beyoncé and act on the hit young adult show, GROWNISH. These girls are it and more. Do it is their upcoming single off their new album UNGODLY HOUR. And it’s a BOP!! It’s infectious and gets stuck in your head. The video makes the song even better. The looks, the visuals, the choreography, the girls said here let us feed y’all during this pandemic. And boy did they feed us. With DO IT, they’re showing us how they’re truly grown now.[refrence to their first album) and I think I can speak for all of us when I say we are here for it.

Covid-19 update

How’s everyone doing?! This seems like it isn’t real and the future is so uncertain. I know I personally was so excited to go into this year and had so many things planned. And now it’s like that’s all been put on hold because of this virus. It’s weird, it’s like we watch all these end of the world movies but we never thought we’d be anywhere close to it. I personally think this is a wake up call for us all! I think the universe is trying to correct what we’ve done wrong to each other and the planet. We literally was living so reckless and careless and this is our wake up call. We have time to think and change our actions. There’s nothing else to do but to think and change. I will admit this whole thing is so stressful to me and gives me anxiety. I laugh at all the memes about it being the end of the world but I’m so scared that it is. And I have so much I still want to do, it almost doesn’t seem fair. But I know it’s not about me, we’re all in this together. There’s nothing any. Of use can do but stay and home and wash our hands. I do think the government has failed us and they’re not telling us everything. This happened too fast and is too big of a situation for it not to have more to the story. I’m super anxious but hopeful for our future. I hope this isn’t the end. And I hope you’re all well and taking care of yourselves! Let’s come out of this stronger and better humans.

Little mix is back

Remember my last little mix post when I said the girls wouldn’t make it if they didn’t seriously change everything up?! How this last album/ single could make or break them?! Well I guess they listened. They seem to have learned from past mistakes and are switching it up. This past Monday started the new era and everyday we’ve been getting content, which is very unlike them. And tomorrow (Friday) we will have the new single and lyric video, again VERY unlike them. They usually tease the single. Release two weeks later. Then we get the single art another two weeks later and then the video like a month later. Imagine how tired we were. The new single is called break up song which is a generic title but good promo ,because everytime someone looks up break up song, their song will pop up! The teasers have shown that it’s gonna be short and sweet(perfect for radio play) and it’s heavenly 80s influenced! Which is my favorite time period for music and the 80s theme is very popular right now.( stranger things) I can’t wait to hear the entire thing and will be back with a first reaction to update you all. This could finally be the single to break America!!!!!!

Goodbye 2019

Here’s the thing, the god honest truth, 2019 was the hardest year I’ve had in a long time. I went fresh into the new year with a new job and a new semester of school and full of hope(New website). Ended up succeeding in work but failed an entire semester of school. I dropped out temporally. I made new friends whilst keeping the old ones. New friends turned out not to be so good for my mental health. Old friends started new ventures and moved away. Cue my mental health taking another dive. My love life, completely toxic and full of drama. Cue my mental health taking ANOTHER dive. For the first time in years, I felt hopeless and just useless. I was working non-stop and was miserable. I felt like my life was going nowhere. In August I started pushing everyone away. And by November I could barley leave my bed unless I had to go to work. I wasn’t sleeping and my mind was in overdrive . Without getting to TMI on the god awful internet, I just want to say all of this sucked major ass and I’m going into 2020 hopeful. I’m making a lot of changes for the new year and I just hope I’m back here alive on December 27 ,2020 to tell you all about my amazing wonderful year. I’m rooting for myself for the first time EVER. Happy New Years 🥳

In the tall grass

When I first heard about this film I was kinda of interested but kind of not. It just didn’t make any logical sense as to why anyone would hear screaming from a field of “tall grass” and run into it and try to help. But I guess if everyone just called the cops first then we wouldn’t have a film. To say this movie was highly disturbing would be a understatement. The movie follows a brother and sister on a road trip, who while driving by hears cry’s of help from the tall grass . The brother and sister then are lured into the grass and all its sinster secrets it holds. Overall the film was pretty good. I haven’t read the book so I don’t know if they did it justice or not. But as a Stephen king fan I can say it was very weird and disturbing and disgusting, so they must have done something right. There’s plenty of “omg wtf” scenes but one scene in particular that has stayed with me since watching it Saturday. And let’s just say it gave me straight mother/Jennifer Lawrence vibes. I give in the tall grass 8/10. Patrick Wilson was AMAZING and plays a creepy scary asshole too well. The other acting was alright compared to his. In my opinion he carried the whole film. I would watch it again but maybe skip over certain parts.

Bloodshot and waste

Dove Cameron has finally released her solo music and we’ve only been waiting 6 years. Upon the dual release Cameron tweeted that she was so happy for us to finally hear her original music and that it took her so long because basically the music business can be tricky and sneaky. I for one am pleasantly surprised with the musical tone she decided to go with. Dove has a musical theater and Disney channel back ground, mix that with her big green eyes and long blonde hair, I kind of had her as another great straight pop artist . But with bloodshot and waste, they’re much more stronger than a lot of pop songs out right now and they’re a lot grittier. It’s definitely not what you would expect from dove. Both videos are filmed in black and white and both songs are more of a slow gradual pull. I’m impressed with her first two singles and can’t wait to hear more of what she has to offer.

After part 2 is coming!!

The after fandom did it’s job by making AFTER the highest selling indie film of 2019 so far . Almost hitting the 70 million mark worldwide. That’s amazing for such a smaller film. But not surprising because the fandom generated billions of reads for the books. The author Ana even came out to say it will be rated R(YESS) and she wrote the script this time around!!!!! I’m so excited. Even more so that she got rid of the old team and heard the cries from the after fans. We in there, were gonna get OUR movie guys. For real this time. AWC era has begun.
