Welcome Back to the AsToldByShanise! And happy Halloween Week! Today we will be reviewing the last few spooky/ and horror films I watched !
Let’s get into it…
Was VERY excited for this release only for it to be something completely different. Left me feeling very uncomfortable and uneasy. But I did enjoy the general plot and the acting from the children was very believable!
Haven’t seen these films in years! I remember first watching them and being so scared shitless. Now they seem a little silly to me. But they still hold up as classic horror films! Especially the first 3!
Love watching Halloween movies I grew up on! Something about that 90s magic NEVER dies! And Casper is still just as good as it was when it first came out !
Another 90s classic, that still holds up I. 2026! I wasn’t a huge fan of the second film they recently released. But I didn’t totally hate it and I think it did its best to hold on to the classic magic feeling the original gave ! I’ll always be down to watch hocus pocus!!
I remember when this film first came out and everyone was surprised at how good it was and how it turned out to be something completely different! Recently watched and it’s still a great horror film! Love how it pokes fun at the classic tropes !
What spooky movies are you watching this year to get into the mood? You officially have one week left ! I feel like October has flown on by! And I haven’t had nearly enough time to consume the amount of horror I wanted too!
It’s a good thing I’m spooky 365 days out of the year and NOT just during October !
