Now that I’ve been apart of Two Nct comebacks, I’m finally ready to sit down and discuss which one I prefer more! Let’s get into it….

Fact check era was the era I finally gave in to Neo city and let the magic of Nct take over. In typical Shanise fashion I seem to always get into a group when they’re either breaking up or about to enlist! And it always makes me mad , I’m so stubborn and take so long to give new groups a chance. And when I finally do , I get a limited amount of time with them.

Fact Check era was such a blast and it went way too fast. I literally had this album on repeat for the last remaining months of 2023! Was so obsessed, it was their first video since sticker that I saw and couldn’t believe my eyes! It was just so different than any other boy group video I’ve seen and so cool! They definitely have a certain type of swagger that only being in Nct can give you! Fact check era was such a great introduction to Nct!

Walk is so old school hip-hop coded and such a BOP!!! I definitely wasn’t expecting this single to go as hard as it does but it’s definitely one of my favorite kpop songs of the year! And I’d be so surprised if they weren’t nominated for soty! Even with taeyong gone, his presence is still felt throughout this entire era! He definitely would have killed it, if he hadn’t enlisted! Each member shines and has this new glow to them this time around! It really suits them so well and they always look so happy and proud to perform this song!

So which song/era do I prefer?!

Fact Check wins just for the simple fact that, it was my introduction to Nct and i went into my neo deep dive for two months! It was so much fun and such a special time for me. There is something so different about being a Nct fan and I don’t know how to explain it. The utter stress you get with other fandoms, doesn’t really exist in this one the same way. Of course there’s drama and INSANE fans, but the vibes are just different. I even love all the different sub-units of NCT. Which I think is one of the coolest concepts in kpop!

I do LOVE both eras, and I’m super excited to see how each era goes as members enlist and others come out. or if they’ll enlist in groups like Bts and come back sooner.
