Now that the day is Finally here and I’ve actually listened to the album a few times already,( it literally just released a few hours ago), let’s pick my first listen favorites from this perfect album!!!
- Smoke- kind of insane, didn’t think she’d make the list this easy and fast! Perfect single choice!!
- Roses- I’m standing firm and true to my girl Roses. I love a whinny lover boy anthem. This girl literally got him hating Valentine’s Day, which is literally his birthday!! a BOPPPPPPP
- Flamin hot lemon- I knew from the album snippet it was gonna be a favorite and after listening to the full thing, it has been confirmed as a favorite! The rapping verse completely took me out, cause Jaehyun you didn’t have to come this smooth!!
- Easy- as soon as it started , I claimed it as a favorite!
- Can’t get you- after the pre-release of this song, I knew in my bones it was gonna be one of my overall Jaehyun faves! And the complete song is an autumn, cofee shop, masterpiece! His vocals melt together like chocolate on this track. But so does the back vocals of the female singer who sounds like Alicia keys. ( and I will DIE if it comes out as true).
I seriously love this album so much and love when an album instantly becomes a favorite! I love when you can tell an artist loves their job and is actually passionate about the body of work they put out! And this is super evident with J- the first album! Such a stellar job and can’t wait for the years to come as he grows, and how much better his albums will become ! But one things for sure… it’s gonna be pretty hard to top this one!
