Welcome Back to the Blog! Today we will be talking about toxic Korean fans and how they will single handily destroy the one thing they love the most. Let’s get into it….

Midnight on November 12 the members of Nct Dream did their comeback live from their hotel room in Paris. All seemed normal until you saw renjun, mark, and jeno looking at their phones reading mean comments. Later on in the day mark, jeno, and haechan wrote long letters to fans apologizing for lack of promo, album quality and for having the live at midnight.

Here’s the thing, this year has already been too much in terms of toxic fans and most of it coming from Korean fans! They are delusional and way too entitled. And I’ve said this before and will say it again, this is something that needs to be nipped in the butt before it’s too late.

These idols are constantly ridiculed and apologizing for things they shouldn’t have too! Nct as a whole work so hard and constantly have overlapping schedules! And that’s not the boys fault but their company! Sm has done very little to protect their artists this year or the last few years. And k-fans know this and that’s why they have become so aggressive and demanding.

The suicide and depression rate is way too high in South Koreas entertainment industry for things to continue the way they are. Nct Dream is one of the most overworked kpop groups in my opinion, with members mark and haechan being SUPER overworked. Between 127 promotions and dream projects, they barely get any rest!

Dreamscape is such a healing and gorgeous album. Haechan and mark wrote songs for this album and are so proud of this body of work! They don’t deserve this at all, they shouldn’t be apologizing for ANYTHING!! They work so hard and work so much, the hate is literally like a spit in their face! Not to mention jeno is a super calm and unproblematic idol, the fact that we saw him literally reading the comments , then throw the phone across the bed says A lot! Not to mention renjun just got back from a mental health hiatus, he shouldn’t have to hear , or see any hate coming his way! He’s been so happy to be back and I don’t want anything making him feel bad .

K- fans need to take a long look in the mirror, they are literally 2nd to the reason kpop will probably continue to have a downfall in the years to come ! These idols are already stressed and overworked enough, we as fans are supposed to be their peace . Our only job to is to support them and their music . Nothing else, they don’t owe us anything! And we should be grateful for the amount of comebacks and content we get being in Neo land. and to lecture them about the live being done at the wrong time, hello they are on a world tour! Of course the time zones are different and they are going to go live when it’s probably least convenient for a lot of us. Get over it, this is how non Koreans fans feel when they go live during Korean time zones. But we also don’t make it a big deal, we accept it . We either wake up to watch it or catch the replay. Like sane normal fans . And they will of course promote the album when they get back to Korea, now that the tour is over, I mean that seems to be a given. So I don’t understand why they are all in an uproar.

Sm needs to do better about protecting these boys, and fans need to immediately learn their place! If you don’t like the album, don’t listen to it and move on. There is no need for hate! there is already so much going on in the world, let’s all just chill out and be grateful for this absolutely wonderful album!
