Welcome Back to the blog! Today we will be discussing Yejis newest single, Air! Let’s get into it….

Now that Air is finally out in the world, I can’t believe it actually! It’s super good, and I was worried for our girl, but of course she pulled through!

First things first, 5/5 stars!! Such a solid debut for our fearless leader of Itzy. I was a littler nervous to see what JYP would do with Yejis talent, as she’s an all rounder and a great performer! And as we know , even if they’re all bops. Sometimes the itzy lead singles can take a while to grow on you. But Air needs zero warming up, and as soon as it starts , you instantly get pulled in!

It’s mature and shows fans a new side to yeji. I will admit , I did NOT expect these vocals from our girl. I’m so used to her singing in her higher register for itzy songs, so to hear her sing a big lower, was something new for me! But I definitely enjoyed it, and it shows new fans that maybe don’t know yeji or itzy that well, that yeji can actually sing AND dance. the video is super cool and creative. And does a great job at showcasing just how amazing yeji is on the screen ! She’s truly is so captivating and she does it in such a calm way.

She looks phenomenal and sounds amazing! I’m so proud of her and will immediately be downloading Air! Can’t wait to see what else she has in store for her solo era!
