Welcome Back to the Blog! Today we will be reviewing GameBoy by Katseye!

Let’s get into it…..

Fresh off the success of Gnarly and new single Gabriela, our latest and newest single Gameboy is now ready for us to all digest.

I didn’t think we’d get three singles off the new album, but I’m glad they did. And I’m happy they’re completely different from each other.

Gameboy is such a fun summer song and a great anthem for women of all ages. Don’t sit around and let that boy play you, keep it cute and move on! This song reminds me so much of older little mix. And it feels like something they would have put out. And that makes me love it even more!!

Manon leads the most with carrying the verses, and I’m so happy to see her finally getting her shine . She looks incredible and she’s showing the haters she has what it takes as well , and she’s just not the visual!

Dani as well has been killing it this era and I was pleasantly surprised with her vocals with Gabriela and now Gameboy! Katseye is really an all rounder group!

The only downside was we didn’t get to see Lara perform the choreography with the girls and the entire music video is centered around the dance. Apparently she was injured the day they filmed it, so she couldn’t participate. But we did get some amazing shots of her and she’s acting the only controlling the girls in the game!

Overall 5/5, it’s such a fun song! And it’s been stuck in my head since its release!!

I loved this era so much and how mature they’ve gotten. And I know once yoonchae turns 18, they’re gonna continue to push the boundaries and continue to grow. This era fits them more as well in my opinion, but I do love how versatile they are as a girl group! And I can see them being the biggest global girl group!
