Welcome Back to the Blog! Today we will be discussing Nct Dreams newest single ,BTTF. Let’s get into it…..

When SM decided they were gonna do an era where the boys would be referencing their old eras and more specifically chewing gum era. I was like “oooh this is a good idea but are they disbanding?” Because let’s be real, with all the throwback pics and videos that’s what it was giving. And some Nctzens literally thought the same.

But it turned out just to be an era that was honoring their past while moving forward to the future! And that’s totally what this single does and does well might I had.

When I first heard the snippet for the entire album I was GAGGED and sent straight back into a world of 80s pop music, that I wasn’t even born yet to enjoy. When I first heard the snippet for BTTF I was worried, i honestly thought this would be the first Nct Dream song that I would enjoy.

Which happens every time I preview any NCT song, I’m always worried I won’t like it but always stick around to later see the vision! And the video totally brings it together for me. The choreography seems simple in terms of what we are used to seeing the Dreamies do. But it is absolutely not and seems very detailed. it’s also one of my favorite dance routines from them in a while.

One of my favorite parts of the video is when they show us the alternative jobs the boys would have had , if they weren’t idols. And when they pay homage to chewing gum era. The video felt all types of nostalgic , especially for an era I didn’t even know them for.

I give the song 5/5 and I give the video 5/5!! It’s a hit in my books and Nct Dream never misses.
