I’m literally writing this with tears in my eyes, I am so proud of Ms. Leighanne Pinnock!! I’ve been a mixer from the very beginning on the x-factor days and to see how much she’s truly blossomed is making my heart so FULL. So let’s get into it…

I totally expected something completely different from this teaser and couldn’t believe what we actually got! This song seriously takes over you and sends you back to the early 2000s when this type of pop music was taking over the scene. That little break down beat between the chorus and next verse is so HARD. And gives me total vouge vibes.

DONT SAY LOVE is about how Leigh is confessing she’s down to be with her partner if they are down too, but if they don’t feel it, they should say it. Basically if you want me and want this to work, we can make it work. If you don’t, then bye I’ll find someone else. But I really want YOU . Sir so you need to get it together.

My own silly suspicions is this is how she felt in the very beginning of her relationship with NOW hubby Andre Gray.

The LOOKS, the SETS, Ms. Leigh has the budget hunny!! She looks phenomenal and it’s so emotional to see her standing so powerful by herself!!

I love how in the beginning you see her mouth covered and her hair up and intertwined and she’s raising the plants around her. Then in a blink ..her hair is flowing down and her mouth is no longer covered. Which can be interpreted many ways. But what I got from it – is that for years she’s been in little mix and had to share the spotlight with 4 other girls and could only say so much. Now she’s free and solo , and has the room to blossom and grow and BE HERSELF. it’s been no secret that as the only BLACK girl in Little Mix, she most definitely got a lot of the hate and slack, and not nearly enough attention as the other 3. So this moment is so powerful and she looks so beautiful owning it!!

I am so forever proud of Leigh, and CAN not wait to see what else she has in store. I give Don’t Say Love 5/5⭐️. Leighanne completely ATE down and I can say she released it during PRIDE MONTH makes it all the more better. The gays are gonna eat this up!!
