Welcome Back to the blog and Happy Friday! Thank Goodness it’s finally the weekend!! Today Jennie of BlackPink released her first full length solo album! And it’s everything and MORE. I’m so hyped and so proud of her !! Let’s get into it!

When Mantra dropped , I wasn’t the biggest fan at ALL. And I was super worried she’s was going to go so far left of the kpop woman we all know and loved. To become more international and westernized! But to my surprise each drop after Mantra,was absolutely Devine!

From zen, to love hangover, to ExtraL. Each single drop I loved more and more. And it also showcased the variety of Jennie herself! Jennie has said that with this album, it’s her baby and very personal. And I can definitely see that, she poured her heart and soul into each song and it SHOWS. She’s also said that if she didn’t write a song , she still met with the writers and contributed ideas. As these songs are the songs of her personal life .

I’ve only gotten through about 90% of the album but I’m so obsessed and this is the first time I’ve ran this fast to listen to a girls solo album! In terms of the kpop community!

I give Ruby 10/10, it’s absolutely so beautiful and she should be so proud ! Even if it doesn’t do the numbers she’s used to, it’s still such a solid debut all on her own! I haven’t even listened to the other girls solos but I just know Jennie’s is gonna be my favorite!

She’s my bias for a reason!
