Let’s get into it….

Gnarly by Katseye has just been released into the world and I have a few thoughts! Off first listen I absolutely hated it, like no words ! Shocked that their team would follow up with touch with this!

After watching the video and listening to the song again, I have to admit it’s starting to really grow on me.

Gnarly is really their take on kpop noise music. It’s ridiculous, it doesn’t make sense, but put it to a great beat and you end up vibing! And I think that’s what hybexGeffen wanted. Honestly they knew the fans would be divided by this song and mostly hate it, but after a while any annoying song that’s kind of catchy will get stuck in your head! and the more people hate on it or talk about it, the more the views go up!

As a Nctzen and little mix Stan, I know sometimes you have to give a single a few more listens before you fully love it! Should we have to do that? Absolutely not, but sometimes in life it takes a while for us to recognize greatness. I absolutely loathed sticker at first , now it’s one of my favorite songs … EVER!

The song is DEFINITELY all over the place and chaotic. Which for sure matches the girls vibes and their personalities. But the looks, aesthetics, confidence, are top tier! The girls look AMAZING!! And that choreography is out of this world. If these girls are gonna do anything?! It’s eat up some choreography and put their entire backs into it! just wish they would have actually showed off their vocals more!

It does seem like this a kpop type song that got turned into English, with the crazy lyrics . But it also might be done on purpose , as when the girls start promoting in Korea, the Korean fans are gonna eat this up!

I did love the quirkiness of it all and perhaps maybe that’s why it’s growing on me the more I listen to it! over all I’d give this single 3/5. But like I said it’s definitely starting to grow on me.
