Angel Of My Dreams is literally taking the world by storm! Since its release on Friday the video is already past 2 million views, and I believe out of all the little mix girls , she’s the first to do so that fast. Let’s break down this video, where’s there’s more than meets the eye…..

As we know now and what we last talked about In our last Jade review , the song is about jades hate and love relationship with the music industry. And no matter how much it sucks she can’t live without it in some way.

In the beginning we meet the first version of jade, who is blonde , larger than life and your typical huge pop star who seems to have lost her way and is obnoxious. She crashed her limo into the street where she gets out to meet her screaming fans. That’s where we meet second jade who’s singing her heart out across the street . Of course first jade( who’s with a very giant music producer/manager) sees her and is instantly jealous. But so does that music producer and just like that first jade is already forgotten and second jade gets a chance to become a star.

Second jade becomes a star over night after she marries herself to the music producer /industry. But she starts to notice it’s not all that it seems. But she still try’s to make the best of it .

This is where we meet third and final jade. While second jade and music producer are sitting in rehearsal, third and more edgy jade catches his eye. He then becomes obsessed with her and makes her a star. All while second jade is watching and realizing how harsh and cruel the music industry is. In a comic relief moment first jade stumbles into the room angrily and fights edgy jade and as a screw you to music producer.

This all entire video is done brilliantly and to showcase how jade has felt through her time in the music industry. How so easily she could always be replaced by the next big thing. How loose the industry is, and how nothing is permanent. And while every version of jade finds this out in a different and sometimes more dramatic way, they all come to the conclusion they still love it all no matter how hard.

This video is definitely my number one out of the little mix girls , and even more so when I rewatched it and found out it had so many different layers and meanings. Jade has done such a great job on her first single and video!

Can’t wait to see what else she has in store… WE WANT MORE JADE!!!
