Perrie has finally released her third single and well…. It’s something alright. Let’s get into it!

Let’s start with the positives, she of course sounds AMAZING. Super clear and concise. Those high notes and long runs were out of this world and she’s showcasing how much of an incredible vocalist she is. Also love the wardrobe for the video. The red and black is a vibe and she looks gorgeous.

Super proud of her for doing choreography, even though she was great in little mix and always killed it, it seems she’s not a fan of doing choreography. So I’m proud of her for stepping outside of comfort zone and doing it with full confidence.
But overall, I’m just not a fan of this single and her sound. And overall I’m just not vibing with Perries solo era as much as I thought I would and it makes me super sad. She has such a wide and intense vocal range. And I feel like she’s just not showing her FULL potential. Her solo hasn’t been awful, it’s just super standard and a little boring.
She definitely has a comfort zone in terms of music and has solidified herself there! She doesn’t seem to be moving from her safe space at all. Which is fine in terms what kind of success you want. If she just wants to make the kind of music she’s making and she’s happy with it, then it’s great and good for her! But this is of course her job and one of the jobs she uses to pay her bills and support her lifestyle. I don’t see either singles doing big outside of the UK and some places in Europe. And maybe she’s okay with that. when supporting a solo from a favorite artist, I’ve never hated all 3 single choices before.
I know regardless most mixers will eat it up and support her. And I’ll always support her, I just not feeling her music at all. Her solo was one I was the most excited for and I feel a little let down to be honest. She’s definitely ranked last in my favorite little mix solo eras.
I’m not even excited for the rest of the album or any other songs . But I am super proud of her and she’s glowing .
