It’s spooky month and what better time then to rate Jordan Peeles movies from my favorite to least favorite! Let’s get into it….

Staring off strong is GET OUT

The complex and complete mind fuck this movie was makes it stand in a league all of its own. Anytime someone told about this movie when it first came out they would go “you just have to see it man, it’s wild”. Walking into seeing it for the first time I had no idea what to suspect but what we got is definitely not it!! Jordan does a great job at making the viewer feel every inch uncomfortable as the lead . And when the big revel happens you are left with your jaws on the floor.

Second is US

Now this film is definitely a lot creepier than Get Out but not as complex. This film definitely had a lot of unsettling scenes and you kind of forget who you’re rooting for once the revel happens. Maybe the “BAD GUYS” aren’t so bad after all….

Nope comes in third, not because it’s not good. It’s amazing, complex, and has great story telling! Along with great acting from our leads. I just wasn’t as pleased with the reveal in this one. But that one scene , (you know the one), definitely left me feeling uneasy.

Over all Jordan continues to push boundaries and make great complex thriller/horror films for the black community.
