Welcome Back to the Blog! Today we will be talking about some of the new movies I’ve watched recently!

Let’s get into it….

Watched this film one day when I was born and I was pleasantly surprised. Over all I’d give it 3/5, just for the different and interesting plot. And the acting was phenomenal. The film is a little weird and is more of a comedic thriller versus a scary or horror movie. I didn’t love it or hate it, but I can appreciate it for what it was. The movie follows couple Jules and Mickey, when they break into a home and what they find inside shocks them. I wouldn’t turn this on voluntarily to watch again, but if it was on the tv I wouldn’t mind .

Zoe Kravitz’s director debut and what a debut it is! I give this film 5/5, it’s a little on the nose but given the current political and social climate of the world, it was incredibly brave to make a film like this . it’s definitely an interesting watch and I don’t know if could watch it again. The acting is great and everyone really nails there characters! I totally left this movie feeling a little uneasy about Channing Tatum, but that just means he did an incredible job in his role as Slater. Naomi Ackie is a beast and she helps carry This movie on her back! Phenomenal actress, Her and Adria Arjona were a great pair and I would love to see them in something else together!

Definitely going to do a full review on this film. I give it 4/5, the kills were lackluster and it wasn’t actually horror movie at all. But it was fun, campy and lots of cringe humor. I actually liked this cast . And thought they did well with what they had. Teddy and Danica definitely carried the movie for me! Loved their comedic timing and couple scenes. hated the killer revel and the ending ! Definitely rolled my eyes at the end. But it was a fun ride to get there I suppose.
