BTS Designed Merch

Last week Bts started releasing customized merch that they personally help design. It was a year long process and they were involved every step of the way.

Each Member has designed two different pieces for Army and each design fits the aesthetic of the Members. For example, namjoon designed joggers and wind chimes.

So far Namjoon, Jin, Taehyung, and Yoongi have released their merch. And so far everything has sold out within seconds. I’ve seen people say they literally got to checkout at the time, clicked on it and it was sold out. Army is known for buying things out super quickly but this has been outrageous and super entertaining to watch.

I would love to have some personal designed merch, but I fear I won’t actually end up with anything at this point. And I’m waiting to see what Jimin and Jungkook release to see if it’s worth the fight honestly. BTS has been releasing so much merch lately that it’s kind of hard to keep up, especially if you’re adult army and got real life things to use your money for. But it’s also kind of getting annoying and hybe is starting to look money hungry. At the rates they’re releasing merch and how it’s all getting sold out, BTS are gonna be billionaires by the end of 2022, if they aren’t already.

I know army jokes about buying anything and everything they release to pay their bills, but it’s starting to kind of be a drag and not fun anymore. Sure I want to pay their bills and keep them happy, but I want to be happy and pay my own bills too. It’s getting hard to keep up with the hustle and bustle of being a Bts Stan. Because the question stands… Do I really need it? Or am I just mass buying it because it’s fun and it’s a rush, and every army is doing it?! Because at the end of the day all I’ll have is a bunch of merch I don’t use and is collecting dust on a pretty shelf.

I’ve even seen some BTS collectors starting to sell some of their merch and downsize because they have too much and they’re questioning if they really need it.

It’s something to think about as army. Of course you can do whatever you want with your money, and if makes you happy sure. But is it really necessary to be a BTS Stan? And do we honestly truly, NEED it?!
