Recent Horror!

Happy Saturday, hope everyone is doing well! As i live in Florida we’ve been hit by Helene and now Milton! My family is okay and safe , but my city is not. We are just trying to rebuild and stay strong! With all the chaos, I’ve been watching more horror than usual with the recent off days! Let’s get into it….

Every Halloween since 2021 , this has become a staple in my house! I love this entire series and I’m always gagged when I remember it’s a children/teen book series! This has always been my favorite out of the 3! It’s the only one with completely new characters! The sisters are ride or die and I loved for it! the fact that they weren’t scared to go there and kill kids was a first! Most horror tends to shy away from that and for good reason.
Just felt it was right to watch after watching the HILLS HAVE EYES. Separate post coming on both movies! I liked that this movie got right to it, and didn’t waste any time with the kills and gore. Kind of lacked story line though. not a fan of the creepy inbred woods people. And back in the day this movie was sooo scary. Now it kind of falls flat and seems silly! But still a good watch for Halloween!
Of course I’m going to try and watch every single Halloween movie AND franchise, every single Halloween! This wasn’t a reboot but more of a continuation from the original first two Halloweens. Laurie Strode is STILL that girl and Michael is still mad. Wasn’t a fan of the following two movies after this.

Halloween is approaching and hurricanes aside, spooky season has been in full force!
