Ariana Grande has been a staple on a few artists songs, ( the weeknd, Nicki Minaj) just to name a few. But it’s her more recent girl power Collabs that are my favorite and PROVING TO BE HER BEST.
1. I don’t do drugs- Doja Cat ft. Ariana Grande
Is such a sleeper bop, and it’s on doja’s Planet Her album. It’s one of those songs that is so good but since the entire album is great it tends to get burried. It’s officially one of my favorite doja songs and songs period. The sleepy melody and the harmonies between Doja and Ariana are exceptional.
2. I Met Him Last Night- Demi Lovato ft. Ariana Grande
I was intentionally a little worried to have two big vocal powerhouses on one song, but they didn’t over shadow each other at all. Each girl has her big vocal moment, and the moments when they harmonize, is pure bliss.
These two songs are similar in a way, songs about being addicted to someone and chasing the rush of the person. Also while comparing them to being on drugs, which being Inlove often feels like. These songs sit at the same table for me. These songs are also some of best of the two artists.
