Recent Horror!

I’m back with another spooky October recent horror list! Let’s get into it…
Literally only watched this one because I watched the first one. I have this thing where I HAVE to finish the entire franchise, even if it’s garbage. This one had a totally different vibe to the first one. There’s parts I liked more in this one bs the first. But there’s also more I liked about the first one vs this one. (And NO I haven’t seen the originals!) the same creepy vibe is there definitely , but definitely more silly in certain scenes where it didn’t need to be. 3/5 Every year since these films have come out , I watch them religiously! And I’ve almost gotten every single person in my life to sit down and watch all 3! I love these films so much. Just the right amount of gore and creepy factor! But definitely not too much of either. Great script and decent acting . When this franchise first came out this one was my least favorite. After a recent rewatch , I’ve definitely found a new love and appreciation for it. 5/5Knowing these movies are from video games , makes it harder to take seriously. It’s EXTREMELY hard most times to take a very outrages video game and translate it properly to films. This definitely isn’t my favorite resident evil film, but it is the start of a cult classic franchise. So I have to give it this film its flowers. And this look alone deserves all the awards! 3/5
I am slowly making my way through October and I’m watching more and more horror content!
