Welcome back to the blog and Happy Sunday! Today we will be talking about some of my favorite spooky hidden gems. Some of them are very popular, but most of them get swept under the rug for not being the “typical” horror.

Let’s get into it…..

Took me YEARS to finally sit down and watch this movie because I was so scared it was gonna scar me. Turns out to be one of the best little hidden gems I could have ever found. Literally try and watch it every year! And it should be on everyone’s Halloween Watch list!

I remember when this movie first came out and I was going to a haunted house, my mother did NOT find that funny unfortunately. But this movie was very entertaining and definitely worth a rewatch in October!

I LOVE anything Guillermo Del Toro does and his take on fairytales and horror is very unique! I’ve been waiting on a sequel for This movie since he came out , and unfortunately there’s been no news. I went into this movie blind and ended up loving it so much! The acting and story line is just superb, and it’s just enough scary if you’re a new horror movie watcher!

This movie absolutely surprised me and it takes you on a RIDE!!! It’s absolute chaos and so much happens it blows your mind. One of the first times I’ve seen an ending and been so upset ! Love this movie !!

Another wild ride of a movie! I do love how over the years we are getting more and more films about how crazy some insanely rich people are! And I definitely didn’t see A lot of the twists coming when I first watched this film! 10/10, definitely recommend!!

An Oldie but definitely a goodie! Another example of a rich family with some dark secrets! You won’t see the twist coming at all.

I’m sorry I just love this film so much ! And it’s not even the greatest horror of all time or even THAT time. But it’s super nostalgic for me and I’ve just grown attached to it for some reason. I even rewatch outside of spooky season!
