I had absolutely ZERO idea that Weekly had released a new single and concept. To say I’m shocked , would be an understatement.
Weeekly is known as our fun happy 4th gen little sisters. They did the cute and fun concept well and I thought they would ride that train out. Well it seems the girls are growing up and wanted to show a more mature side with Ven Para. I’ve only listened to it once, so I’m not sure how I actually feel about it. But I know once I keep listening to it, it will grow on me.
I really wasn’t expecting the girls to do this type of girl crush/edgy concept. I know it’s common for girl groups to change , especially as they grow up. But they did the cute concept so well, and it actually seemed natural for them.
Now the video is absolutely killer and the girls do look amazing. I just think the new concept is going to take some getting used to is all. And I for sure will have to listen to Ven Para more and watch some live performances to get my final take on the song.
