Hi guys we’re back with another horror review. And this time I’m talking about Hulu’s new film NO EXIT.
The movie follows Darby a drug addict who’s escaped her facility to go see her sick mom. When she gets stuck in a snow storm and must wait it out with four other strangers. When Darby goes outside to check for cell phone signal, she notices a girl tied up in van. And that’s when the film really picks up.
NO EXIT is the classic ” Who Done It”, as the director shows you several sides to each character and you have to find out who actually has the girl tied up . I will say I didn’t expect the plot twist and that’s even after hearing about the plot twist. I was still shocked. I did call half of it, but the other half I did not.
I do wish there was more gore and more horror. It was actually more of an thriller if anything. And I do wish some characters were more flushed out.
The acting was actually good and the pacing was nice too. I would definitely recommend it for a rainy day or if you just want something new to watch. I give the film 4/5, just because I wanted MORE.
The ending was alright, but very predictable. I saw so many more gruesome and cool ways this movie could have went, and it just didn’t go there at all. Overall I did still enjoy the film and highly recommend.
