Welcome back to AsToldByShanise! And happy Sunday! Today we will be rating the side characters/ friends of the new Carrie reboot from favorite to least favorite!
Let’s get into it!!!

The sweetest, most puppy like version of Tommy Ross in all the Carrie remakes! He is genuinely nice to Carrie and no one has to tell him to be. His fate is sealed and it makes it so hard to watch, because he truly didn’t deserve it.

Sue was complicated, she was popular, well off and had a super cute loving football player boyfriend! But she was best friends with Chris and the other mean girls of the school. And even though she knew what Chris and the other girls were doing was wrong, she never really said anything until the end . She didn’t really sacrifice any friendships and she didn’t really hold anyone accountable until the situation got worse. She’s the most realistic character of this film. She’s a good girl at heart, but never really stands on anything until she has too. She’s friends with the people who do wrong and unfortunately you are who you hang out with .she feels bad for Carrie and actually likes Carrie, but doesn’t want to loose her friendship with Chris . You see her grow and distance herself from the friend group through the series, especially as Chris and Tina get meaner , I think she starts to see how different their morals might be . Even still I liked Sue, she was a cutie patootie.

Without a doubt the funniest mean girl of the series . And you start to feel a bit bad for her , as she’s in Sue and Chris’s shadow . But she also does a lot of snooty and mean things that shouldn’t go unnoticed. She has a change of heart at the end , and I’ll give her that. and she’s definitely the comedic relief! And such a baddie!

This version of Chris was the nastiest and meanest version ever . Every episode as her life fell apart, she kept getting worse and being meaner to Carrie. I actually felt rage watching her through the screen, which means the actress did a phenomenal job. I could not stand CHRIS or her family . And she got what she deserved at the end ! I did start to have a bit of empathy for her as her life got worse, but The way she went to the depths of hell to be a nasty little witch to Carrie was unforgivable. But there was moments where you could see in her eyes she wanted to be better or stop. But she’s a sociopath , she literally just kept going . And it was hard to watch , because you just know how it all ends .
I was excited to see a fresh new young cast and not the same actors over and over again! It helps to connect with a story when you don’t know the actors and they haven’t been in 200 projects already. This is definitely one of the most talented young casts. And I’ll be sure to keep my eye out for future projects.
