At 3 am I woke up to use the bathroom and got the notification that yet again another member had caught COVID.
I was just thinking to myself how hobi and kook we’re doing so well with not catching the viral infection. Then BAM they both caught it. Only difference is j-hope will be clear to perform for the Grammy’s. It’s just sucky timing on their part for sure. And knowing Jungkook, I know he feels so bad and is blaming himself.
I’m not sure what’s going to go on with their Grammy Performance now, considering Jungkook is their center and main vocalist and carries most of their harmonies of the songs. I’m sure they could perform without him, but it would be difficult.
As my ultimate bias, I wish him a speedy recovery and NOT to be so hard on himself. I genuinely feel so bad for the boys and him.
Were you looking forward to the boys performance at the Grammys? And do you still think they will perform?! Let me know in the comments down below.
I had absolutely ZERO idea that Weekly had released a new single and concept. To say I’m shocked , would be an understatement.
Weeekly is known as our fun happy 4th gen little sisters. They did the cute and fun concept well and I thought they would ride that train out. Well it seems the girls are growing up and wanted to show a more mature side with Ven Para. I’ve only listened to it once, so I’m not sure how I actually feel about it. But I know once I keep listening to it, it will grow on me.
I really wasn’t expecting the girls to do this type of girl crush/edgy concept. I know it’s common for girl groups to change , especially as they grow up. But they did the cute concept so well, and it actually seemed natural for them.
Now the video is absolutely killer and the girls do look amazing. I just think the new concept is going to take some getting used to is all. And I for sure will have to listen to Ven Para more and watch some live performances to get my final take on the song.
What did you think of Weeeklys comeback?! Were you as shocked as I was? Did you enjoy their new sound and look? Let me know in the comments down below.
Hi guys we’re back with another horror review. And this time I’m talking about Hulu’s new film NO EXIT.
The movie follows Darby a drug addict who’s escaped her facility to go see her sick mom. When she gets stuck in a snow storm and must wait it out with four other strangers. When Darby goes outside to check for cell phone signal, she notices a girl tied up in van. And that’s when the film really picks up.
NO EXIT is the classic ” Who Done It”, as the director shows you several sides to each character and you have to find out who actually has the girl tied up . I will say I didn’t expect the plot twist and that’s even after hearing about the plot twist. I was still shocked. I did call half of it, but the other half I did not.
I do wish there was more gore and more horror. It was actually more of an thriller if anything. And I do wish some characters were more flushed out.
The acting was actually good and the pacing was nice too. I would definitely recommend it for a rainy day or if you just want something new to watch. I give the film 4/5, just because I wanted MORE.
The ending was alright, but very predictable. I saw so many more gruesome and cool ways this movie could have went, and it just didn’t go there at all. Overall I did still enjoy the film and highly recommend.
Have you seen NO EXIT? And are you more a fan of thrillers or horrors? Let me know in the comments down below.
Brace yourself harries, new music is finally coming!!!
I think we ALL had a feeling new music was on it’s way. He finished both of his movies last year and just wrapped up tour earlier this year. Then went dead silent, I just knew he had something cooking.
I’m VERY excited to see what Harry’s House sounds like, the title alone is very indie British single. I absolutely ADOREDFINE LINE. It’s my favorite body of work from him, so I’m super excited to see if this album will top that for me personally.
Are you a Harry fan? And are you excited for new music?! What do you think it’ll sound like?!
I was on Instagram a couple of days ago, and saw a mutual post about how much they enjoyed Gracie’s concert . Then I saw another mutual post about her and it got me curious.
Then I went onto YouTube and FEELS LIKE was the first video I saw. And then I realized I’d heard this song all over TikTok, but just didn’t pay it any mind or care to look up who it is by. I fully sat down and watched the video and instantly fell in love with feels like.
One thing about me, I LOVE a little indie girl. And her music so far seems to be right up my alley. Her music feels like the songs you play in a coming of age movie.
I would have NEVER looked at her and thought that voice would have come out of her. She seems to be friends with Taylor swift and Olivia Rodrigo, so I can see the comparisons.
I can’t wait to dive more into Miss Gracie Abrams and see what she’s all about.
Are you a Gracie Abrams Fan?! Let me know some of your favorite songs by her , so I can check them out.
So I remember declaring back last year when After We Collided came out that I was done with this franchise. But since I’ve watched After We Fell twice, this one just might be the best out of 3 that have been released this far.
I remember being highly frustrated with how rushed and cringe After We Collided seemed. It didn’t flow naturally and there was no real plot it seems. So I gave up on these films, thinking it was only gonna it worse from here on out. From the ever changing cast, to the ever changing directors. And apparently the production company falling out with miss Anna Todd herself. I will admit the films did seem to get better when she was dismissed so…take from that what you will.
After is a fanfic franchise based off on one direction mixed with 50 shades. Back then ,it was super fun and we were young. So we didn’t pay attention to how cringe it was or how it didn’t make sense. Actually maybe we knew and we just went along for the ride, because we love a toxic to healthy love story.
The third film picks up where the last left off and everything is just BETTER. As good as it can be with this story line at least. The pacing is smoother, the acting has calmed down and is BETTER. jo and hero look super healthy and relaxed, and just BETTER.
I was super annoyed with the cast changes, because they were changing major characters every film. But these latest changes seem to be more fitting. None of Hardin’s friends were present in this film, and I know I haven’t read the books in a while, but I could have sworn they were a major part of After We Fell too.
Either way , you notice they’re aren’t there, but they aren’t necessarily missed.
If I had to recommend these films to a friend in order I would go
1. After we Fell
3. After We Collided
I would honestly give this film 4/5. It was shot beautifully and the cast seemed very at ease and comfortable with the script. They weren’t trying as hard. Of COURSE , there was still some cringe parts, but that’s to be expected with these types of films.
I can Honestly Say, I’m intrigued to see the next two installments. I’m not even sure what’s going on in the after world and if they’re still being made. But if they are, My interest is back open.
Are you a fan of the After Franchise!? How do you feel about them?! Let me know in the comments down below.
We are now entering Comeback Season as many groups are gearing up to release new music for the spring/Summer. One of the first groups to get something new out there is STRAY KIDS .
Now I’m not a stray kids fan, but do casually listen to them. But not in the way that I’ll go look up their music, more so if it’s playing I won’t turn it off. I can’t even honestly name one stray kids song, but I can mumble some words and beats and HOPE you get the song I’m referring to .
They’ve kind of gotten slack from the kpop snobs of the community for making “Noise” music, and all of their music sounding similar. Which I don’t personally think is a problem, but can get a little repetitive and annoying.
Maniac is the newest single and it’s surprisingly not their usual noise music. The beat does switch up, but only once and it flows. Obviously the most catchy part of the song is Felix’s chorus of the song. His voice is just so deep and Rich, it just instantly digs deep into your soul. The choreography is nice and goes well with the song. I especially like the head turning move they do with the chorus. I can see a lot of transition videos being made to this song on TikTok.
As an casual listener I’d give it 4/5, just because I’m not a fan, but it’s also NOT a bad song. The video is super cool and I love the aesthetics. And of course the boys look great.
Are you a stray kids fan?! Are you excited for this comeback?! What was your favorite part? Let me know in the comments down below.
